eBook & Access Code Frequently Asked Questions

 

I received an email with my eBook or access code. What do I do first?

Start by opening the first email you received. Click the redemption link in that message—this will take you to the CEI/Carleton University Campus Store eBook site to complete your setup.

 

I didn't redeem my code using the link in the email. Can I still access my eBook?

Yes! If you missed the link:
  • Visit campusebookstore.com
  • Sign in or create an account
  • Select "Redeem Access Code" on the left menu
  • Enter the code you purchased

Your eBook will either appear under "My eBooks", or—if it’s an access code—it will show under "My Access Codes" with further instructions.

 

Where do I find my eBook once I've signed in?

After logging in, check the left menu:
  • My eBooks: Your eBook is available to open and read
  • My Access Codes: If your item requires an additional access code, it will be listed here along with step-by-step instructions. Please follow those instructions carefully.

 

It's asking me for a course ID. Where can I find that?

Your course ID may be listed:
  • On the Campus Store website under the course code and section
  • In your course outline
  • On Brightspace
  • In Carleton Central (see image)
